Michael Gentile is undoubtedly one of the best guitarists of the moment. His game
picking the twelve strings guitar and very original and suggests sounds very rich.
His influences are varied, one might say from Ireland to India via Parthenay.
At the concert he gave at Niort in the Moulin du Roc in June 2005, Michel has asked the association to make Pikodon Pictures uptake.
Eventually it turned into a DVD that contains the full concert, a live autobiography, a media review, discography and especially a mini twelve-string guitar method in which Michael reveals his technique and is shared. A little bonus
gives us pleasure to see John Renbourn, Peter Finger, Pierre Bensusan and Michael Gentile on the terrace of the coffee room at the Moulin du Roc, Niort is on the west coast.

Mr. came home late from work as usual.
Dinner was uneventful, calmly, without a word, as usual.
Madame is deep in crosswords, Mr. in his diary, as usual.
Another day average French, where it nothing happens ... or very little.
Until the phone rings ... Nothing extraordinary, at first ... except ... the couple does not subscribe to the phone!

BLUES PROJECT: THE CONCERTS FOR A SHOW AND CONFERENCE
The history of blues is inseparable from its African roots, the history of slavery and the slave trade. The cultural mix
indeed begins on the boats which are crammed into the hold, in appalling conditions, many African ethnic groups have neither the same language, nor the same social codes, or the same rituals.
It will take those first generations of slaves, torn from their homeland, learn to live together, understand, share what remains of a continent.
Later, with successive generations born on American soil, an African American nation will gradually find its own identity. A nation with a new culture of eating and ancestral memories of all the influences residing on American soil.
